5 things you should mention before you learn Hacking

If you are reading this it means that you are interested to learn Hacking more or less. I have seen many people who are misguided and wanted to learn hacking for somewhat malicious or wrong purpose. Some people wants to make career into the field. But the fact is after all of their efforts less then 20% out of them are getting their proper goals and designation. 

Here I will discuss upon 5 things that you should keep in mind before learn hacking or before entering into the field. 

1. Get clear on your purpose

Many time I have seen the people who wants to learn the hacking for animus or revenge for something bad happens to them. This is very amiss reason to learn the hacking. At this stage I would like to say that there are very less chances that you can get help by learning hacking skills.  More chances are that you may get into the trouble for this by law and statutory regulation. If you have this motto, you may not get your solution here. Learn hacking for Good purpose. 

2. Make yourself skilled first

Sometimes at the very young age and without any proper technical knowledge, people start to learn hacking. Most of time they learn few tips and tricks and thinks that its done. These people called "Script Kiddies".  NO Way..!!! hacking is the field where you need to keep learning on each and every phase of technology and that too everyday no matter how much experience you have. You just cant focus on just tips and tricks. Before starting to learn hacking you should have basic or expert level knowledge of Networking, Programming, Servers, Operating systems etc. 

3. Choose the Institute

If there is the boom in the market of anything, opportunists will be always there. Same thing is here. comparing from the last 5 years, numbers of Institutes for Hacking are increased 300% and still ongoing. Unfortunately, most of them are fake or just money motivated. Choose the correct institute by cross verification. Check their previous placement records, feedback , reviews, Owner's profile and course content before you enrol for any course. You can also choose a single mentor who is expert into this field and with reputed profile. 

4. Select career wisely

If you want to make the career into this field, focus on security instead of only hacking. Knowing about the disease does sufficient if you dont know about the remedy.  You also have to learn how to solve the things. Major organisations are taking care about the security, no matter how much controls are implemented, because there is always a game afoot. There are many designations you can choose a security professional.  For that you have to earn many certifications along with knowledge of hacking. 

5. Stay away from the illusion and superstition 

Many movies, series are available based on the hacking. People watch this and motivated to become a hacker. I personally dont find it offended, but the occurrence, results and reality are wholly different. The On-screen hacker hero may do many crazy things and back-out from all the problems  but in real life scenario may be tremendously different. Understand the pros and cons before entering the field.

At the end I would like to say that this field is not that much bad if you are stepping in with complete awareness. You can make a bright career by becoming tech star and you can also spend the days and months behind the bars. Be aware....Be heedful.
